The "Wet" vs. Natural Look with Paver Sealing by Gulf Coast Stain & Seal Co.
Paver Sealing is a process of cleaning, sealing, and maintaining your concrete interlocking pavers or brick. A professional paver sealing contractor will use a high-quality paver sealer to preserve your pavers' natural look.
Another option, give your pavers the high gloss shine with a specific type of product.
You decide what you want for the look of your pavers. We found that some homeowners like natural-looking pavers, and others like pavers with a wet or shiny look. Make sure you let us know what you want your pavers to look like before starting the paver sealing process.
The Paver Sealing Process:
We start by power washing and cleaning the pavers. We help you decide on what type of finish you want before we begin. You can choose a multi-purpose sealing product or a high gloss sealing product giving your pavers a wet look.
Next, we make sure the surface is dry. We look at the weather, and that rain isn't in the forecast for the next 24 hours.
Suppose we need to apply a stain remover for existing pavers that are not new. In that case, we will use a cleaning agent before the next steps of applying the sealer.
We will sweep and blow off the surface with a blower for new or recently installed pavers. We take care not to blow any sand away from in between your pavers. We also make sure no weeds are growing there as well.
Applying the sealer to the driveway pavers with a low-pressure sprayer is essential. Using a squeegee, we even out the excess sealer and ensure it reaches all joints and corners.
Important aftercare tips, allow the pavers to dry for two or three hours before walking or driving on the surface. It is best to keep off the paver surface for 24 hours to dry the sealer thoroughly.
Surfaces We Seal
We work on interlocking pavers and brick of all types. We seal pavers for driveways, patios, pool areas, pavers for landscaping, pavers for walkways, and many more!
WHY SHOULD YOU MAINTAIN YOUR PAVER PATIO, WALKWAY, OR LANDSCAPED FEATURE BY POWER WASHING AND SEALING?
Maintaining your pavers is essential for any Florida home owner. Unsealed pavers are subject to fading, staining, surface sand loss, and sometimes your pavers can develop weeds and mildew growth in between the cracks. Call us to help you power wash and seal your pavers for years to come. With proper sealing of your pavers and interlocking brick, your pavers will last longer and look beautiful for much longer. We help you find your desired finished look. We want your pavers to look great, but we also know that when you seal your pavers the right way, it will protect your investment from stains, oil, fading, and surface erosion.
